Revision Nose Surgery

We specialise in undertaking surgery if you have already had surgery to your nose in the past. Some of our patients have had surgery to their nose on 2 or 3 occasions previously by other surgeons and enquire about further surgery. This is called 'revision surgery' and can be a complex procedure in some cases. Mr Uppal specialises in revision rhinoplasty and has many years of experience in this field.

Patients request further surgery for a variety of reasons. Some people want to improve the appearance of their nose to get closer to what they have in mind. Some patients feel that their breathing through the nose could be better. Mr Uppal will assess your nose precisely and make recommendations.

Revision nose surgery is more complex than normal surgery where one operates for the first time on a nose. This is as a result of the extra scarring that is present in the nose following each episode of surgery. The nose had a plentiful blood supply from the arteries of the face and so there is excellent healing after any injury or surgery. However this can become a problem when revision surgery is performed as a much more delicate approach is required. Mr Uppal performs this type of surgery to achieve results that will be predictable. However there are risks as well as benefits to this type of surgery which Mr Uppal will explain to you in detail.
